This has got to be one of the prettiest mirrors i have seen.
‘Discover your World’ by Enchantmints, is a gorgeous mirror with a fold away design. Perfect for little girls who like ’secret passages’ and ‘treasures’.
Hanging on the wall, it just looks like a gorgeous fairy tale picture, but it opens to reveal a hidden mirror. Perfect for any fairy tale bedroom.
And of course, it’s available at Green Faery.

If you know some fairies who are in the market for a new house, then look no further than Fairy Woodland. John Curtis Crawford and his wife Bridget Wolfe create magnificant homes for the fairies at the bottom of the garden.
Prices start at around the $180 mark, but can go anywhere up to around $3,500 for a custom made fairy house. Shipping to Australia can be a bit tricky due to srict customs laws, but their site is stall great to check out.
A Fairy Woodland Fairy House is not “made” or “handcrafted” – like all living creatures, it’s “born.” The disparate pieces like twigs, stones, shells, sea glass, come together in a bed of sand – a kind of primordial “ooze” – from which they emerge as a coherent, unique creation.

Oak Goblinfilter (that’s my fairy name)
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in forests of oak and lime trees.
She is only seen on midsummer’s eve.
She decorates herself with leaves and berries. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
I think it’s quite fitting that she has green wings!

I wouldn’t normally encourage the capture of fairies (as that is not very nice), but i couldn’t resist showing you these as they are just so cute:

This little guy is ‘The Australian Gum Fairy’ and you can find him and many of his friends at The Friend Catchers.

Seeing as fairy bread is a requirement at any good fairy party, i thought it would be appropriate to have it as tip number 1.
Now, for those non-australians who aren’t familiar with fairy bread, i’ll give you a quick run down:
white bread + butter + hundreds of thousands (coloured sprinkles) = fairy bread
Fairy bread tends to get gobbled up fairly quickly, so make sure you have enough. To make it even more fairy fabulous, cut it into little shapes with a cookie cutter (i like stars best), it takes a little more time, but they look great (i find it best to use the ‘big’ bread, so you can get a least 2 stars per piece).

To start us off, i’ll tell you a bit about Green Faery.
Green Faery had been ‘open’ for business since about August 2007, launched only a couple of months before my 2nd child was born (so it’s been pretty hectic).
I have believed in fairies for as long as i can remember and it has always been a dream to have my very own ‘fairy shop’. One day, i hope to have a bricks and mortar fairy wonderland, but for now, with my two little goblins at home, the world wide web is the place for me.
Green Faery stocks an ever growing range of unique and enchanting gifts for all ages and occassions, from babies, kids and tweens to teens and grown ups. Most of our ranges are pretty girly, but we sometimes have things for the boys.
Green Faery’s Fairyland has been set up to bring you more information about the wonderful world of fairies, so we can all share in the magic.
